4D's Managed Services Offerings

4D minimises impacts on our clients through proactively managing IT equipment (this includes software) and providing advice to enable the IT system to meet our clients' current and evolving requirements. Please note that 4D's Managed Services covers equipment purchased or leased separately by our clients or equipment purchased or leased (as Hardware As A Service and Software As A Service) through 4D.

Our suite of Managed Services includes the following:

dddd System monitoring to ensure optimal performance of the IT system and equipments. This includes the performance of all desktops, laptops (when connected to the client network), servers, printers and switches/routers. It also includes Anti-virus and Back up verification.

dddd Incident resolution. 4D will Log all Incidents, and proactively and remotely manage their resolution. For all Incidents causing significant disruption to client IT Systems 4D will keep the client informed of the status, the cause of the Incident, actions being taken to resolve it and the expected time of resolution. Incidents which cannot be resolved remotely will be escalated to 4D technicians for resolution on-site or to Third Party Supplier/ Vendor support where appropriate.

dddd Service Requests to change the configuration of the system, applications and user accounts. 4D will respond promptly to all client service requests to change the configuration of their system, applications and user accounts to meet their changing business requirements.

dddd Repair of all faulty IT equipment. 4D will ensure disruption to your IT system due to unserviceable equipment is kept to a minimum. As mentioned above this includes equipment purchased or leased separately by the client or leased through 4D.

dddd On-site preventive maintenance. 4D will proactively maintain our clients' services through regular on-site visits. During these on-site visits 4D will provide routine equipment maintenance, install major software updates and provide advice and assistance to users on the operation of the equipment and the services provided by 4D.

dddd Maintenance of client IT equipment documentation. 4D will maintain the Asset List, Equipment and IT system configuration and warranty information and update this documentation whenever 4D changes any of the equipments or the configuration.

dddd Advice on all aspects of our clients' IT requirements. 4D will advise clients to ensure they gain best value for money from their IT systems and that they remain 'fit for purpose.'
